TŠC FOOTBOT in TAM Europe: Povezani v znanju, ponosni na prihodnost
Vizija, v kateri imajo mladi prostor za ustvarjanje
V podjetju TAM Europe se zavedamo, da se prihodnost ne gradi sama od sebe. Zahteva pogum, znanje, ustvarjalnost in predvsem – sodelovanje. Prav zato z velikim ponosom sodelujemo s Tehniškim šolskim centrom Maribor (TŠC), enim najpomembnejših stebrov tehničnega izobraževanja v severovzhodni Sloveniji. Povezujeta nas ne le skupna geografska lokacija, temveč tudi skupna vizija – vizija, v kateri imajo mladi prostor za rast, razvoj in ustvarjanje.
TŠC FOOTBOT: Na svetovno prvenstvo v Brazilijo
Letos je to sodelovanje dobilo posebno razsežnost – postali smo glavni sponzor ekipe TŠC FOOTBOT, ki bo Slovenijo zastopala na svetovnem prvenstvu RoboCup 2025, ki bo julija potekalo v Salvadorju, Brazilija. Tam se bodo pomerile najboljše srednješolske in univerzitetne ekipe z vsega sveta na področju robotike – predvsem pa na področju avtonomnega delovanja robotov v realnih situacijah. Ekipa TŠC FOOTBOT tekmuje v robotskem nogometu, kjer se njihovi roboti samostojno gibljejo, zaznavajo okolico, sodelujejo med seboj in – dobesedno – odigrajo tekmo.
Dosežki, ki ne pridejo sami od sebe
Njihova dosedanja pot je izjemna. V preteklem letu so dosegli prvo mesto na evropskem prvenstvu RoboCupJunior ECS 2024 v kategoriji 2 vs. 2 Lightweight, prvo mesto v SuperTeam konkurenci, osvojili so nagrado za najboljši tehnični izziv, prvo mesto na svetovnem prvenstvu RoboCup 2024 v Eindhovnu v kategoriji SuperTeam, deveto mesto v glavnem tekmovanju (2 vs. 2) na svetovni ravni ter prvo mesti na državnem in regijskem tekmovanju ROBOBum
2024.

Takšni dosežki so rezultat ogromno dela, predanosti, sodelovanja in – kar je ključno – notranje motivacije. V podjetju TAM Europe smo ponosni, da lahko prispevamo k tej zgodbi uspeha. Skupna zgodba preteklosti, sedanjosti in prihodnosti
Ta zgodba ima tudi čustveno razsežnost. Dijaki TŠC Maribor se danes izobražujejo v stavbi, ki je bila nekoč izobraževalno središče podjetja TAM. V njej so se kalili delavci, tehniki in mojstri, ki so postavljali temelje slovenskega inženirstva. Danes v isti stavbi raste nova generacija – tista, ki TAM pozna kot simbol zgodovine in prihodnosti. Izobraževanje tako ostaja temelj tega prostora in našega skupnega poslanstva.
Obiski dijakov in profesorjev
V TAM Europe smo vedno odprti za sodelovanje z izobraževalnimi ustanovami. S
amo letos nas je obiskalo več kot 120 dijakov TŠC Maribor, ki so si ogledali našo proizvodnjo, spoznali zgodovino podjetja, obiskali interni muzej in se srečali z našimi strokovnjaki. Takšne izkušnje mladim omogočajo vpogled v realno industrijsko okolje in jih hkrati motivirajo za nadaljnje izobraževanje in poklicno pot.

Veseli nas, da dijaki TŠC FOOTBOT niso le nadarjeni, temveč tudi zelo samoiniciativni. Svojo ekipo vodijo popolnoma samostojno – z jasno razdeljenimi vlogami in nalogami. Njihova delovna etika in zrel pristop nas navdušujeta, zato z veseljem delimo njihovo zgodbo in jim nudimo vso podporo.

A Vision Where Young People Have Room to Create
At TAM Europe, we understand that the future doesn’t build itself. It takes courage, knowledge, creativity, and – above all – collaboration. That’s why we are proud to work closely with the Technical School Centre Maribor (TŠC), one of the key pillars of technical education in northeastern Slovenia. We are connected not only by our shared geographical location, but by a common vision – a vision in which young people are given space to grow, develop, and create.
TŠC FOOTBOT: On the Road to the World Championship in Brazil
This year, our partnership has taken on a new dimension – we have become the main sponsor of the TŠC FOOTBOT team, which will represent Slovenia at the RoboCup 2025 World Championship, to be held in July in Salvador, Brazil. The competition brings together the best secondary school and university teams from around the world, all focused on robotics – particularly autonomous robots operating in real-world situations. TŠC FOOTBOT competes in robotic soccer, where their robots move independently, perceive their surroundings, cooperate with one another and – quite literally – play football.
Achievements That Don’t Happen by Themselves
The team’s journey so far has been exceptional. Over the past year, they won first place at the RoboCupJunior ECS 2024 European Championship in the 2 vs. 2 Lightweight category, took first place in the SuperTeam competition, received the award for Best Technical Challenge, won first place in the SuperTeam category at the RoboCup 2024 World Championship in Eindhoven, placed ninth in the main (2 vs. 2) competition at the global level, and claimed first place at both the national and regional ROBOBum 2024 competitions.
Future Engineers, Innovators, and Researchers
Achievements like these are never accidental. They require hard work, dedication, teamwork, and – above all – motivation. At TAM Europe, we are proud to contribute to their success. A Shared Story of the Past, Present and Future
This story also carries emotional weight. Today, students of TŠC Maribor study in the very building that once served as TAM’s own training and education centre. It was there that generations of workers, technicians, and masters were trained – people who helped write the story of TAM. Today, a new generation is growing within those same walls – one that sees TAM as a symbol of both heritage and innovation. Education continues to be the foundation of this place and our shared mission.
Student and Faculty Visits
At TAM Europe, we welcome collaboration with educational institutions. This year alone, more than 120 students from TŠC Maribor visited our production facilities, learned about the company’s history, toured our internal museum, and spoke with our technical experts. Experiences like these give young people a valuable glimpse into real industrial environments and can inspire them to pursue further education and professional careers.
