The electric bus comes to town – the big secret is revealed. For some time TAM-Europe has been working towards a very special vehicle – e-bus.
It has been our mission for a long time now to reduce carbon emissions. We are trying to be as efficient as possible with regard to fuel. This means, that we are working towards electric powered vehicles in the form of an electric bus. They can genuinely be considered as reliable and workable options for many uses. It is this flexibility that has driven us toward designing a fully modular vehicle that can be simply adapted for multiple uses.
Today we are proud to announce that driving in the first fully operational bus were some very special European passengers.
The European Commissioner for Mobility and Transport, Mrs Violeta Bulc was joined for this test-drive by Dr. Andrej Fištravec the Mayor of Maribor. They were treated to a very quiet and comfortable journey all around the city of Maribor and were keen to discuss the future of EV buses for cities around Europe and the particular benefits of our prototype of the electric bus.
TAM-Europe looks forward to be visible in the future in many cities.
