2nd CHINA INTERNATIONAL IMPORT EXPO (CIIE) – SHANGHAI 2019
CHINA INTERNATIONAL IMPORT EXPO 2019 officially started on November 5 at the National Convention & Exhibition Center in Shanghai. China International Import Expo (CIIE) is the world’s first exhibition dedicated exclusively to imports. It represents a historic opportunity for companies from around the globe to enter the Chinese market and explore possibilities for local cooperation.
The total exhibition area of the CHINA INTERNATIONAL IMPORT EXPO exceeded 240,000 square meters. Around 150,000 professional buyers attended the event. Visitors came from more than 100 countries and regions, confirming the global importance of the exhibition.
TAM-EUROPE Ltd. proudly participated in the 2nd CHINA INTERNATIONAL IMPORT EXPO with its e-VIVAIR2 electric airport bus. The vehicle attracted strong interest and was highly praised by leaders at all levels. On the afternoon of November 5, the TAM-EUROPE exhibition space was visited by numerous high-ranking representatives from state institutions and leading industrial groups, including officials from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, SINOMACH, CHTC, and TAM-EUROPE.
During the visit, Mr. Liu Haitao introduced the e-VIVAIR2 electric airport bus to the guests. He highlighted its key advantages. These include zero exhaust emissions, low noise levels, braking energy recovery, fast charging, and a solar roof system. The bus also offers the largest passenger capacity in the world. All directors agreed that continuous technological innovation is essential to strengthening product competitiveness.
Throughout the five-day CHINA INTERNATIONAL IMPORT EXPO, a large number of professional visitors came to the TAM-EUROPE stand. The design, build quality, and energy-saving concept of the e-VIVAIR2 received widespread praise. Airports and agents from around the world showed strong interest, including China Aerospace Science & Industry Corp, Shanxi Aviation Industry Group, Hefei Xinqiao International Airport, and Zhejiang Airport Group.
Mr. Zheng Xiangping, General Manager of Zhejiang Airport Group, and Mr. Zhu Qian, Deputy General Manager, were particularly impressed, stating: “I like this bus very much. I liked it the moment I saw it.”
